Its All Love Assisting Through Action Inc.

Our mission is to compassionately provide balanced, nutritious emergency food services to individuals and families in Brooklyn, New York. We fight food insecurity through responsive, community-centered services, powered by volunteers, partnerships, and advocacy. Food is a human right, not a privilege, and we are committed to being a support system, ensuring no one goes hungry.

Driven by passion

Our core commitment is to build a strong, supportive network where every community member has access to the essential resources they need. We strive to promote dignity, nurture self-reliance, and cultivate a deep sense of belonging. By focusing on comprehensive support—addressing not only hunger but the underlying factors that create vulnerability—we work to truly empower individuals and strengthen the social cohesion and collective resilience of our neighborhoods

Focused on clients

To overcome these significant barriers, IALATA delivers essential, nutritious pantry packages directly to those in need. This is accomplished through personalized and convenient methods designed for maximum accessibility.

Alexis Glasgow-Love

Founder

Born and raised in Brooklyn, I discovered my passion for nutrition and food justice while volunteering with a Farm to Early Learn initiative while my son attended the BSECDC Head Start Program. After years of working with nonprofits focused on healthy food access, I co-founded It’s All Love  Assisting Through Action Inc. to help families in underserved communities access the nourishment and resources they deserve.

My work with City Harvest during the pandemic opened my eyes to the realities of food insecurity and strengthened my commitment to community service. With experience across nonprofits dedicated to food access, I joined my wife in co-founding It’s All Love Assisting Through Action Inc. to create lasting, community-centered solutions to hunger.
